Siren Call
An assortment of old family snapshots in packets and albums, all kept in an ancient battered case. Portraits of loved ones framed, some hung on a wall. Lockets containing fragments of faded paper carefully cut out from snapshots, precious keepsakes to wear. These are my most cherished possessions, priceless objects that speak of past experiences transcending time. They cannot be silenced, they reach out to me across the years. The siren call of the past entices me to explore the nebulous borderlands between my present and their past.
